Members and guests of the Copyright Society of the South enjoyed an informative webinar on April 22, 2021, with special guests from Facebook, Alexa Cabellon and Natalie Echols.

Alexa Cabellon is Team Lead, Music Publishing Partnerships for the North America Music Publishing Team at Facebook. Previously Alexa was Director of Royalties and New Media at Shapiro, Bernstein & Co., Inc. Cabellon has taught music publishing courses for Berklee Online. Alexa is also the lead singer and songwriter of her Brooklyn-based indie pop/rock band, Little Anchor.
Natalie Echols is Music Publishing Partnerships Manager for the North America Music Publishing Team at Facebook. Natalie was a member of Source3, a content rights management startup that was acquired by Facebook in 2017. Natalie previously worked on the Music Content Operations Team at Facebook. Echols is a graduate of Syracuse University.
Cabellon and Echols discussed options for building a professional music community on Facebook and Instagram. CSoS Board President Kent Draughon moderated the event.
