NIVA – A Voice For Independent Venues & Promoters – 10/20/22 Webinar

| October 24, 2022 | 0 Comments

Members and guests of the Copyright Society of the South enjoyed a very informative webinar on October 20, 2022, with guest speakers Dayna Frank and Tobi Parks from the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) (https://www.nivassoc.org/).  CSoS Board Member Colin Rushing moderated the event.

NIVA was formed in March 2020 to fight for Covid-19 pandemic relief for local music and comedy venues, securing more than $16 billion in funding and keeping a vital part of the music industry afloat.  Frank and Parks discussed the organization’s mission and successes, their plans for NIVA’s next chapter, and their new program to improve setlist data for performance licensing.
