On March 27, 2019, the Copyright Society of the South welcomed Stacey Schlitz with SchlitzLAW (based in Nashville, Tennessee) as its guest speaker, who discussed the procedures and challenges involved in estate planning for recording artists, songwriters, and other individual intellectual property owners. The luncheon event was held at BMI’s Nashville offices on Music Row for CSoS members and guests.
Stacey Schlitz represents some of the world’s most renowned entertainers, composers, and music publishers in the areas of tax, probate, estate planning, intellectual property, corporate planning, contract negotiations, and litigation. She also represents sports agents, trade groups, and municipalities in her litigation practice. Stacey’s clients include award-winning musical artists, songwriters, and publishers in the country and Christian music industries, as well as professionals in the medical, dental, banking, and sports industries.
