2023 Copyright Review with Stan Soocher – 12/7/23
On December 7, 2023, the Copyright Society of the South welcomed Stan Soocher for his 27th annual copyright review. Soocher is an award-winning journalist and entertainment attorney, as well as the long-time Editor-in-Chief of Entertainment Law & Finance, an ALM publication. In addition, Stan is Professor Emeritus of Music & Entertainment Industry Studies at the University of Colorado Denver, where he served as a Music Department Chair.
The holiday luncheon and lecture event was held at the Country Music Association headquarters for Society members and their guests. CLE credit was available to attorneys attending the lecture. The Society expresses appreciation to CSoS Board Member Stacey Schlitz for her kind assistance in securing CLE approval for the event.

Attorney and Professor Stan Soocher presents his 2023 copyright review to the Copyright Society of the South. The event was Soocher’s 27th annual review to the Society.
CSoS Members and Guests enjoyed networking with colleagues as well as a holiday-themed buffet provided by Cater 615.
How to Join the Copyright Society of the South
Consideration for Society membership is open to attorneys, business people, academians, administrators and others interested in the field of copyright law. The Board of Directors has set the annual dues at $250.00 in order to provide top quality speakers, seminars, presentations and an information flow to the membership regarding the field of copyright. The annual dues also cover all normal luncheon and reception costs for members, including meals and beverages and online content/access. Members are accepted into the organization by board vote.
