From AI to the A-List: A Year in Review with Stan Soocher
Stan Soocher, an award-winning journalist, seasoned entertainment attorney, and the long-time Editor-in-Chief of Entertainment Law & Finance (an ALM publication), recently delivered a comprehensive presentation to members and guests of The Copyright Society of the South. This is Mr. Soocher’s 29th annual lecture to the organization.
Stan Soocher’s copyright law review highlighted a calendar year marked by seismic shifts in intellectual property, including: the explosion of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its complex impact on ownership and creativity; high-stakes litigation involving major artists and corporations; and landmark rulings that will redefine the boundaries of copyright protection.
A Professor Emeritus of Music & Entertainment Industry Studies at the University of Colorado Denver, Soocher’s unique blend of academic, journalistic, and legal expertise made the lecture an essential, must-attend event.
Attorneys attending the luncheon and lecture were eligible to receive crucial Tennessee CLE credit.
