The Learning Network: The Impact of Policy on the Creative Community (Originally scheduled December 2015)  – This session of the Learning Network is designed to provide the music community with an update on what is happening in DC related to establishing various policies impacting the payment, usage and exploitation of music as well as to:

Express the need and opportunity to understand what issues impact the music community and industry’s livelihoods.

Explore the impact of gentrification on Nashville’s creative community, history and growth along with the policies surrounding gentrification.

Additionally, each panelist will speak to what their organization is doing to address changes in the music industry and support the future of the creative music community.
