Upon graduation from Cornell University with an MBA, he became the Senior Economist for ASCAP. In 1992, he formed a unique economic consulting firm whose long term clients include RIAA and SoundExchange in Washington, Warner Chappell, Universal Music Publishing Group, Universal Publishing Production Music and APM in Los Angeles, EMI, BMG, SONY/ATV and Spirit Music Group in New York and SESAC in Nashville. His firm provides strategic insights into performance royalty income and synchronization licensing for the publishing community as well as operating the leading valuation team for profiling catalog deal transactions. His partner, Ms. Nari Matsuura, is also a graduate of Cornell’s MBA program. His Senior Economist, Elon Altman, studied managerial economics at Cornell.
