DESCRIPTION:SPEAKER:   Kent Draughon\nKent Draughon is the Vice President of Publishing Administration for Capitol CMG Publishing. He’s worked for CMG in some capacity ever since his junior year in college… (which is to say\, ever since he had a mullet). Kent manages the jedi-knight team of licensing\, royalty and copyright specialists that care for thousands of songs written by hundreds of CMG songwriters. Additionally\, Kent evaluates potential acquisitions and monitors the company’s financial results. He’s the source of most country\, funk and gospel music being played in the office. Kent is a member of NARAS\, The Copyright Society of the South\, The Church Music Publisher’s Association\, Administrators of Gospel Music\, Providence Baptist Fellowship and Chairman of the Nashville Chapter of M.A.V. (Men Against Veggies).
