IMG_8758On Tuesday, May 20th Sandra Aistars gave a brief summary of the upcoming events and deadlines for the ongoing copyright policy proceedings. The Copyright Alliance is urging not only business owners impacted by copyright  policy, but creators should be front and center during events/hearings.

May 23 – Deadline to submit comments on Music Licensing (Copyright Office).

June 2 – New Your Feild Hearing on Digital First Sale (House Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, IP and the Internet).

June 4 – Deadline to sign up for Harvard roundtable  on Remixes, First Sale Doctrine, and Statutory Damages (Patent & Trademark Office).

June 4-5 – Nashville roundtable on Music Licensing (U.S. Copyright Office).

June 16-17 – Los Angeles roundtable on Music Licensing (U.S. Copyright Office).

June 23-24– New York roundtable on Music Licensing (U.S. Copyright Office).

June 25 – Harvard roundtable on remixes, First Sale Doctrine, and Statutory Damages(Patent & Trademark Office).

July 8 – Deadline to sign up for Los Angeles roundtable on  remixes, First Sale Doctrine, and Statutory Damages(Patent & Trademark Office).

July 9 – Deadline to sign up for Berkeley roundtable on  remixes, First Sale Doctrine, and Statutory Damages(Patent & Trademark Office).

July 29 – Los Angeles roundtable on  remixes, First Sale Doctrine, and Statutory Damages(Patent & Trademark Office).
